Make your Mark Campaign

21 Sep 2017 Make Your Mark

‘What issues matter most to you? Help decide what UK Youth Parliament debates in House of Commons’

Let’s ensure thousands of young people have their say.....

Make Your Mark gives a unique opportunity to reach out to young people who go on to be opinion formers and leaders of the future. This year, through school, online and through our grassroots we’ll be reaching out to young people once again. Last year a total of 978,216 young people from every corner of the country took part in the annual Make Your Mark ballot. The ballot will decide what Members of the UK Youth Parliament should debate and vote on to be their campaign for in 2018. The debate will take place in November 2017 within the House of Commons

At 5:00pm on Wednesday 18th October 2017 there will be a live discussion on Facebook of the top five issues chosen by young people with Sky News Presenter Claudia-Liza Armah. You’ll be able to follow the conversation via #MakeYourMark.

During the show, you’ll find out how many young people have taken part in Make Your Mark throughout the campaign, and we’ll reveal the top five issues chosen by young people across the UK.

During the announcement, a full breakdown of results by region and local authority will be made available on UK Youth Parliament website.
