Do you want to volunteer with other young people? Volunteer in one of our youth centres across the city?

The youth service in Salford does a lot of great work with young people and if you have some time to spare volunteering is great fun and gives you some experience in this field. Youth centre sessions are loads of fun and they do a range of different activities each week, which involves things like arts and crafts, health and safety, cooking and pool.

If you are interested in volunteering the best way to do this is to pop down to your local youth centre and speak to one of the workers, they will be able to let you know what opportunities there are in that centre and on what days the centre is open.

If you are still interested then you would sit down with one of the workers to complete an application and also you would need to be police checked as you would be working with young people, once the youth service has this you can start.

If you want to ask any questions before going to your local centre regarding volunteering you can call 0161 778 0700.
